HostingShip.com reserves the right to change this Policy any time, please check this page at least once a month or when in doubt. HostingShip.com strives to provide the best possible service to all our customers, but we will not tolerate any unlawful activity or abuse on our servers. We respect freedom of speech and expression unless it is harmful or offensive to others. If complaints are received about any site, the respective owner will be notified and given a chance to correct the situation. You also agree to abide by the iWeb Terms of Service & the iWeb Acceptable Use Policy. If there is a contradiction between the HostingShip.comTerms and Conditions and those of the above iWeb policies, the iWeb policies will take precedent. Failure to comply with corrective actions will result in the termination of the account and no refund will be given.
Payment Details -
Full payment is required before any hosting service is provided, which includes renewals. Account holders may choose 2 payment plans: 1) monthly charges and 2) One lump sum of 10 months worth of hosting, and HostingShip.com will provide 12 months worth of service. Payment is through a valid credit card, Paypal, or by cheque or money order (contact us for holding times). Prepayment is due at the time of ordering your HostingShip.com hosting plan. Other services offered are to be paid in their respective timeframes. Consultants and business partners are to be paid according to their respective terms.
If an account is cancelled by HostingShip.com due to a violation of our Terms, there will be no refund issued. All monetary transactions are in US dollars only.
Why is your prices in U.S. dollars and not Canadian dollars?
HostingShip.com is advertised internationally, thus we comply with the US Dollar as a base for our international orders. 2CheckOut.com provides payment details converted to the most popular currencies, please select this option to have your payment converted to your local currency.
HostingShip.com reserves the right to change prices at any time. This also applies to existing and new accounts. Taxes of respective states, provinces and countries are the responsibility of the individual account holders.

Indemnification Policy -
You agree to use all HostingShip.com services and facilities at your own risk. HostingShip.com specifically disclaims all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall HostingShip.com be liable for any loss, or loss of data, or other commercial damage, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential or other damages. Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold HostingShip.com harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against HostingShip.com, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, it's agents, employees or assigns. Individual consultants and business partners are responsible for their own actions and services rendered and are not to be connected or identified in any manner with any services or products of HostingShip.com.
Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless HostingShip.com against liabilities arising out of:
1. Any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with HostingShip.com servers.
2. Any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party.
3. Copyright infringement.
4. Any defective products sold to customer from HostingShip.com server.
HostingShip.com shall be the sole judge of what violates this Policy, our procedures, practices, and services.
If we determine that any site on our servers is using too much of the server's resources and therefore abusing the server, we have the right to suspend that domain without any notice or charge additional fees in accordance to our usage policies. It is then up to the customer to contact us and formulate a plan to get that domain activated again. We are quick to suspend any domain that abuses the server's resources due to the shared nature of the server and the negative impact an abusing domain has on other domains on the same server.
No mass email marketing or free email businesses allowed!!
We do not allow mass email marketing sites on our servers. It doesn't matter if it's opt-in email marketing. We simply do not allow sites of that nature to be hosted on this shared environment. Sites such as "safe lists" and "free email" are also strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to shutdown such sites, that we consider harmful to the server's performance. We will do our best to identify and be proactive in informing the customer before the account is created. A refund, hold, or refusal of payment will automatically be determined at the time of identification and detection of such sites.
Usage & Storage Policy -
HostingShip.com will provide data storage services (hosting services) for websites from customers as requested and paid for.
Free storage is provided to customers as a promotion and requires no payment while the promotion lasts. Customers are responsible for linking every webpage to Hostingship.com. Failure to provide these links will result in suspension of account. If customer wishes to use the FREE account for email only we would ask they reference HostingShip.com in their signature as a courtesy for using our services.
Free accounts may be converted to paying accounts at any time. This may be determined by either the customer or HostingShip.com. If HostingShip.com converts Free accounts to paying ones, the customer will be given advanced notification. The Free storage promotion may be terminated at any time.
Customers are entitled to the amount of storage, benefits, and hosting plan paid for. Exceeding any limits imposed by the server or HostingShip.com policies will be cause for automatic notification, suspension, deletion, and/or termination of site with or without refund to be determined by HostingShip.com.
Backup & Recovery Policy
HostingShip.com strives to be second to none when dealing with security and safety of your data held on our servers. Every day a backup is made on the server. However, while extremely unlikely, there may be acts that HostingShip.com cannot forsee or guard against. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you waiver all liability against HostingShip.com and its associates. You further agree to keep and make, updated backups of your data on your own accord. The Cpanel Backup utility is an excellent way to ensure your data is backed up and we recommend you do this on a weekly basis.
SPAM Policy -
HostingShip.com is committed to a zero-tolerance, anti-Spamming policy. Under this policy, we prohibit Spam, or any unsolicited commercial email, from being sent either: Over the HostingShip.com network, by customers or any other users of the HostingShip.com network (including customers' customers); AND/OR over ANY network— if the message sent advertises or mentions a site hosted on the HostingShip.com server.
We react quickly and seriously to violations, and we further reserve the right to terminate the services, without prior notice, of any customer disregarding this policy. Sending unsolicited commercial email (a.k.a. "spam"), cross-posting messages to a large number of Usenet groups, posting obscene or threatening messages while using or referring to a HostingShip.com email address or web site URL is prohibited. The use of HostingShip.com servers as a mail drop for responses to activities described above is also prohibited.
Content Policy -
All services provided by HostingShip.com may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any Canadian Federal, Provincial, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, trademark, intellectual property, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute without proper authorization. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless HostingShip.com from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party. HostingShip.com reserves the right to govern content on all servers of said company and will enforce this policy where it sees fit. HostingShip.com will notify and comply with all laws and law enforcement agencies, and will provide evidence to such authorities upon proper request.
Legal adult content, including pornography, erotica, erotica fine art is allowed on all HostingShip.com servers. This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or links to adult content elsewhere. Legal adult content must be published in accordance of any applicable law or regulation. HostingShip.com will be the sole arbiter in determining violations of this provision.
Prohibited are sites are those that promote any illegal: activity, obscene material, hate or other material identified by HostingShip.com or present content that may be damaging to HostingShip.com servers or any other server(s) on the internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.
Examples of unacceptable content or links -
- Pirated software.
- Hacker programs or archives.
- Warez sites.
- Online gambling.
Any illegal activity of the following nature, including obscene or offensve adult content, links to adult content or web sites of that nature, online gambling, spamming or hacking will result in your site being shut down and the proper authorities notified if necessary. No refund will be given.
HostingShip.com does not host sites of its competitors or web pages promoting sites of its competitors.
HostingShip.com will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of any of it's provisions, policies, procedures, products, services, and practices.
